The seasons

This cyanotype series reimagines family archival image of my mother, using the centuries-old photographic process to explore time and light. I’ve created four prints, each reflecting a season, in the size of traditional family album photographs. The use of cyanotype, with its rich blue tones and delicate details, evokes a sense of connection to pigments and natural materials, offering a visual dialogue between past and present while examining the shaping of personal and collective memory.
